Hollie’s 5 Fast Facts:

1. What do you love most about your role at Vertafore?

Building relationships with our amazing Vertafore Canada Clients and partnering with them to see how they use our solutions to power through their workday.

2. How did you get into the InsurTech business?

I began working from within a brokerage on the broker management system support side. I was quickly inspired by the nuances of the system. I had the opportunity to learn both about the Insurance industry and InsurTech simultaneously. I was hooked. Insurance and technology are two incredibly fast-paced and ever-changing industries. I find it energizing and inspiring to be on the forefront of solutions that help drive the industry forward efficiently and innovatively.

3. What are you most excited about for the future of InsurTech?

It is amazing how widespread and different the Vertafore Canada broker-scape is in terms of how our brokers manage their businesses. Not one is the same. We have an opportunity to open doors and respond to the many awesome ways our brokers want to communicate with their insurance partners and their clients. There is always a new discussion being had on how to improve efficiency, or how to leverage technology to respond to a new challenge or need facing our brokers. Ultimately, our mission to put people at the heart of insurance technology is what makes it not only exciting to see what the future of the InsurTech industry holds, but how Vertafore Canada will lead us there.

4. What’s your idea of the perfect weekend?

Simple weekends with my family, really. We love being outside as much as we love dancing around the kitchen. Anything that brings us all together.

5. I’m coming to visit you! What are your favorite/must-do things in your city?

This is tough, it depends on the season. There are so many festivals and markets happening all year. We are lucky enough to be surrounded by things like the Olympic Stadium and La Ronde. But if you want to keep it simple, let's get some dinner and gelato in little Italy and find a movie in a park.
